The National Sailing School, located in Port Calanova, has been a world leader in sailing for decades, with an unbeatable location and unique facilities, where you can learn and improve your sailing techniques in Dinghy Sailing.
Our objective is to provide quality education, encouraging this sport and respect for the sea, in a safe and enjoyable manner. We impart values such as self-esteem, tolerance, responsibility, team spirit, sportsmanship, and the development of the specific attitudes necessary to participate in each discipline.
The port facilities include 40 berths exclusively for the School, 2000m² of esplanade, over 147 Dinghy boats, 15 Zodiac schooners, 8 classrooms, a sports centre, gym and pool.
The teaching team at the National Sailing School is made up of a group of qualified professionals, including national and international level regatta champions. The team consists of over 30 qualified instructors willing to share their knowledge and experience in sailing, allowing you to learn from the best professionals.
An important factor for us is safety in every activity, for participants at the School as well the external public. Therefore, we apply very high standards of safety and all of the boats have daily maintenance so that you can sail under the best conditions.

DIn summer, you can take part in our courses from June to September. We offer different courses and levels to suit everyone and you can learn and improve your skills in the activity of your choice.

The School is open throughout the year and our courses are available in winter. From September to June, you can also enjoy Dinghy Sailing with our team at the Port Calanova facilities.

Calanova has three learning centres, in the mornings from Monday to Friday, for a number of water sports. Thus, we are bringing the world of sailing to the youth to promote the sport and encourage teamwork.
